Speaking about the single, Diarmuid said: "The idea for 'Friends Like These' came about from a conversation with my 15 yr old son - ‘You can't just go up to people, say hey, and make friends. It's much more complex due to social media status and cliques’.“

“I feel this sentiment is echoed in similar challenges and anxieties around forming new friendships as you go through life."
